Meet Dr. Kayla Carr
Dr. Carr’s approach to orthodontic treatment is rooted in developing a trusting relationship with each patient. She understands the importance of listening to the desires, concerns, and goals for their smile.
Education also plays a vital role in Dr. Carr’s approach. She believes in educating patients about their oral health, treatment options, and the benefits of orthodontic care.
By taking the time to understand each patient’s unique needs, provide comprehensive education, and develop a customized treatment plan, Dr. Carr ensures that every patient feels comfortable to make an informed decision about their orthodontic care.
Dr. Kayla Carr’s academic journey has been marked by unwavering dedication. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Science at Auburn University while competing as a gymnast on a full athletic scholarship. Graduating at the top of her class, she earned a Doctorate Degree in Dental Medicine at the University of Louisville. Dr. Carr’s passion for orthodontics led her to dedicate two additional years of specialized orthodontic training at the University of Louisville, serving as the class president during her residency program.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Dr. Carr deeply values her personal life. She met her husband, Chris, in 2010, and they navigated a long-distance relationship until tying the knot in 2015. Today, her pride and joy are her four children: Brooks, Marielle, Lillian, and Beckham. When she isn’t spending quality time with her family, Dr. Carr delves into her hobbies, which include exercising, crafting, reading, exploring new restaurants, and traveling.
